The new "Goldtouch" Keyboard offers a great value for the dollar spent. More importantly, because of its innovative adjustability, average and intensive keyboard users may expect improvements in both their posture and comfort. Featuring a small form factor, the Goldtouch Keyboard minimizes the amount of desktop space required for use. It also features an embedded numeric keypad rather than a standard numeric keypad normally situated to the right of the alphanumeric keys. By moving the numeric keys closer to the user, the Goldtouch keyboard helps eliminate ulnar deviation and pronation that is associated with improper extension of the hands during keyboard entry. With the simple release of a lever, the Goldtouch keyboard will "tent" and "split" up to thirty degrees in each direction. By raising the two keyboard segments in the center, users are able to position their hands in a natural "repose" position. Placing the hands in this natural repose position while keyboarding has proven to help reduce ulnar pronation and deviation. The desired result therefore, is a reduction in unnecessary muscle involvement, a decrease in fatigue and tension and improvement in blood circulation through the hands.
